- Platforms: iPhone (iOS) and Mac (macOS), one subscription for both, bought through Apple.
- Price: free 15 minutes of recording a month with every feature; Tam Pro $49.99/year (about $4.17/month) or $6.99/month; no card-up-front trial; no account or sign-up.
- Languages transcribed: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese. Language is detected automatically and can change mid-conversation. Notes, live captions and answers are written in the user's chosen language.
- Who said what: speakers are told apart live; a voice named once is recognized in later recordings. Voiceprints stay on the device.
- Where it records: in person from the iPhone or Mac microphone; on the Mac, both sides of Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, Slack, Discord, Webex and browser calls via system audio, with an offer to record when a call starts. No bot joins any call.
- Notes: summary, decisions and action items, each checked against the transcript (quotes must exist). Templates: general meeting, 1:1, sales/customer call, standup, interview, user research, everyday conversation.
- Talk (iPhone only): a live interpreter; Tam speaks what you said in the other person's language and theirs in yours.
- Ask: questions answered across all notes, pointing at the moment they came from.
- Privacy: notes, transcripts and voiceprints are stored on the device. Audio streams to Soniox for speech-to-text; conversation text goes to Anthropic's Claude through Tam's relay for notes, answers and translation. Neither stores it or trains on it.
